Migraine Mother Of Headache

Many people confuse migraine with just another headache and are shocked when some closed one makes an issue out of it. But in fact a migraine attack isn’t a headache gone bad. The other symptoms like vomiting, nausea, sensitivity to light or noise, dizziness and changes in eyesight turn it into an unbearable
sight.

As a matter of fact, a World Health Organization report (Shapiro & Goadsby, Cephalalgia, September 2007) compares severe migraine attacks to one of the most disabling illnesses, even comparable to dementia, quadriplegia and active psychosis. It takes another step to call migraine the least funded neurological illness. Sadly enough, migraine remains undiagnosed and undertreated in at least 50% of patients, and less than 50% of migraine patients consult a physician (Pavone, Banfi, Vaiani & Panconesi, Cephalalgia, September 2007).

The saddest aspect of migraine is though its symptoms can be controlled to a certain level with the help of medicine, but its frequency and total cure hasn’t been yet found in medical science. But Chiropractic treatment has a chance!

If you suffer severe migraine and medicines aren’t helping, you may want to give a try to the nearest Chiropractic doctor in the region. 33 million Americans are already doing so. The chiropractic line of treatment isn’t only a drug/surgery free approach, it is completely natural as it uses spinal manipulations to achieve pain relief and complete cure of spinal cord related problems.
